6x10 and 6x16 Utility Trailer Models

Flatbed utility trailers come in two sizes. Have your choice of either the 6x16 or 6x10 utility trailer. The 6' x 16' comes in two grades: utility and heavy duty.

The 6x10 utility trailer is the smaller utility trailer available. Compatible with a 500 gallon water storage tank and featuring a 20" deck height, this small flatbed utility trailer is made with a durable design structure and constructed from strong materials. With 5" channel iron with 3" channel crossmembers 24" on center, this trailer size has two 3,500 GVWR E-Z lube axles with 15" tires. A 6x10 utility trailer can be made to fit each job's specifications with different pieces of equipment or accessories.

The 6x16 utility trailer comes in two model types: utility and heavy duty. For reference, the utility model is compatible with a 1,000 gallon tank, and the heavy duty trailer is compatible with a 1,600 gallon tank. Both types have a 26" deck height and are 16' in length, not including tongue. Our larger utility trailer for sale can carry bulkier items that might require more space. A heavy duty flatbed trailer like this one has a GVWR capacity of 20,000 lbs., while the 6x16 utility trailer has a capacity of 14,000 lbs.

Frequently Asked Questions

Flatbed Utility Trailer Question and Answer

Yes, before taking your utility trailer on the road make sure it has been properly registered at your local Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV). State laws differ, but most states will require you to obtain a title/tags, especially if your trailer exceeds a certain weight. Thankfully, our flatbed utility trailer for sale is DOT-compliant, meaning it has been approved by the Department of Transportation (DOT) as safe to drive on public roadways. As soon as you finish your required paperwork at the DMV, you can take our utility trailer out for a spin knowing it is equipped with all the right safety features.

Most utility trailers do not include tongue in their listed dimensions. This includes the flatbed utility trailer. You can typically add about three feet (3') to adjust for tongue length. For the most accurate dimensions, especially after adjustments, call our product experts at (863)261-8388.
