One Clarion tanks liners are food grade certified to NSF/ANSI 61: Drinking Water System Components – Health Effects and come with a 20 year “No Service Cost” warranty. These liners are made from flexible polyethylene for it's natural flexilibility. Others may use a PVC material, but we find that becomes brittle over time, and can compromise the quality of your water storage. In addition, we use a solid lining material (as opposed to a coated mesh), because the tank shell resists all of the water pressure loads, leaving the liner to remain the flexible waterproof layer.
Yes! Use our innovative "Rainsaver" gutter system to collect rainwater, filter it and direct it into the tank. The domed roof on One Clarion metal water tank has dozens of channels around the perimeter of the roof that run from one side of the cistern to the other. Rainsavers are placed at the end of each channel to collect the water during rainfall events. If the tank is full, the water diverts to the overflow as it normally would.
